You think the usb change would be needed? I can believe it’s a program like fsrealistic but why the usb port change?

I removed it and as well fixed the FPS. Could be the fix. Try both. Please let us know the results on your side ;-).
just airborn in su3 now. I will test it with fsrealistic cause the RANDOM thing can indeed be caused by some input of fsrealistic. Test could be today or tomorow, i am hoping to get a new build today also! I will get back to you. Please keep me posted if you can finnish more flights! Was it with Fenix plane?

I came back to su4 just going to take off and fly for some time.
Are you using Active sky in su4? I do…
I don’t. Does it work, I’ve seen it causes CTDs.
First small rest by just taking off and flying for more then 90 min everything fine without fsrealistic. Where did you get the active sky info? I am using it and it seems to work…
Very good! I really think it is FSRealistics that was causing these freezes. I flew:
ZRH-NCE-GVA-NCE-ZRH-BRU-ZRH without any freeze and without any loss of performances (insane)
For Active Sky, when I launch it it closes itself before being able to connect the sim. I guess you are lucky here ;-).
How did the tests go on your side ?
Yes for me Active sky is just working
I flew yesterday evening just 1 flight, INI EGLL take off and just flew heading 110 to center Europe at 6000ft. With Active sky and Elevatex (just to produce a little of a normal flight) I flew 90mins, plane crached and was sitting on the ground for 15 mins or so… No freeze,
I will now start some real tests with full flights. I keep you posted!
Just did 1 test flight. No stutter, no problems! Will do more today!

Did another flight, EGLL to LSGG, no freeze, did some tuch and go’s, no freeze… For me fsrealistic is the culprit at the moment!
Same issue here. Freeze but sound still on. Happened a couple of times already with Fenix
By any chance, were you online on VATSIM ?
Also having this issue. Twice now in 2 days with the Fenix, had to force close the sim. 1 other time I left the sim for 30mins during flight and came back to a CTD.

same here, also with the fenix, I never had this many crashes before, and they happen high up where there isn’t much happening/loading
not op but yes, the one time I wasn’t on vatsim I completed the flight just fine. You might be onto something… I’ll check tmrw
Might not be the solution for all, but values above TLOD 200 highly increase the chance of the sim freezing up.
Since i am on 200 (instead of 250 / 300 before) i never had a freeze again.
That is interesting… I will give it a try as I have had many freezes.
I have constant freezes coming in KIAH default scenery and 3rd party. I tried 3rd party and default aircraft same issue. I have tried starting at KIAH and as soon as I request a push back with GSX the sim freezes.
