Hi all,
So, after the update thrusday, I wanted to start a flight this monday.
I usually start one when working, go back to my work input on my monitor, and monitor my flight sometimes.
However, now when switching input, the sim freezes immediately, and only a taskmanager exit works.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Cheers
Vic
Yes Same results here.
Yes im having the same issue even if i dont switch my task…. Its frustrating for real!
same here can not play anymore, sim freezes everywhere!
OK issue solved!
Hosts file corrupted just cleanup and sim works again

what does that mean? the windows hostfile?
where did that bug crome from? I don’t get it…
I tried, but it is not the solution…
question for understanding: while you “fly” / “having game already opened” you switch to a different monitor ??
to a different input on my monitor yeah
may be it is a feature so that users not let run the game useless in background and waste in that way valuable energy
Seriously: I remember some topics about in forum , mainly KVM switch related… other ones where also the sound goes through the monitor and let freeze the game, or sound-driver settings ( soud-effects ).
May be you find something helpfull if you search in forum about “kvm switch”.
hahahaha, but but, the enjoyment I get out of it overcomes the energy usage…right? (and I live very sustainable in general… ah now I replied seriously anyway…)
aaah, It could eb sound related, I noticed discord also really likes to tell me eeverytime a new audio device is connected, thanks!
I could not resist
And yep… I assume a sound-device-change MSFS will currently not really survive ( I not testet it ). May be you can disable the sound ( in case its anyway in background ), or forward it to an “allways existing device”… but I have not a ‘detailed’ idea.
hmm, I disabled my HDMI devices and that seemed to work. When I listen to the audio it still stutters when switching back to my PC input but it stays running. I guess this was the problem. THanks for your input, would have never expected this!
