ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
When trying to load into a flight in Free Flight, often it seems to sit and spin forever (I’ve had it happen for >1hr before). When this happens, pressing the ESC/go back button causes the sim to freeze up. It doesn’t freeze up if you press ESC/go back when the flight is geuinely just loading in. But after a short time (10-60sec) the system is no longer downloading any data (Task Manager shows a baseline download rate, rather than 100+Mbps). -

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE
How often does this occur for you? (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)
Any time I try to load into big airports. EGLL, EIDW, EGSS have all shown issues. So far, have only successfully loaded into EGLF. Aircraft doesn’t seem to be a factor.
REPRODUCTION STEPS
Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue.
- Select Free Flight, select airport, select aircraft, start flying.
- If the system seems to be “hanging” (i.e. if it hasn’t come up with the “Ready to fly” screen in something like 10 minutes, it feels like it’s never going to (as I said, I’ve seen it wait >1hr with no progress) pressing Go back causing the sim to freeze up - you eventually just have to kill the process.
- If the system isn’t hanging, pressing Go back re-loads the main menu.
