Anyone else noticed since the last update if you do a flight return to main menu then start a new flight the sim is lagging really badly. To stop this i am having to close the sim down relaunch it every time i want to start a new flight.
It happened to me several times also. When that happens, memory used by MSFS jumped more then doubled, I have 32g of memory usually it use around 12 to 16 g but when that happens, memory usage jumps to like 29 to 31g so I guess it start using the virtual memory frame rate drop to lik less then 10 fps, only a restart the game will fix it.

It probably has to cache all the data which would normally be done during loading screen?
Yup this is exactly what’s happening to me as you described it thanks. I have sent a zen desk ticket over and a link to this thread to confirm it’s not just one user experiencing it thank you.
