Thank you very much for your kind words, we appreciate them. From the TDS end we want to do as much as we can to improve our software so our users will have a great experience. At least to eliminate the TDS GTNXi as a potential cause of issues.

It has restarted happening to me, MSFS stays active as a process for a couple of minutes (unless I kill the process), but it does eventually close. And I am on MSFS 2020
I have also recently started to experience this again, but the difference from the issue a while back is that it doesn’t happen on each exit of the sim. Using MSFS2020 and an overall very clean system and sim setup with only addons I need in use enabled in addon linker. Also occurring with an empty community folder. I keep my sim very much unchanged over long periods and as far as I can remember I did not change my normal and everyday sim configuration in terms of addons I always have enabled etc, so I hope that the team is able to reproduce this and that it becomes bug logged.
Today I had same issue and I am using MSFS2020.
I am in MSFS2020, and it is back there too.
For a few (4-6?) weeks this has been an issue on basically every sim session for me.
Already tried with empty Community folder, disabling all the exe.xml autostarts, turning of all tools that are running externally before exiting…
Repairing Gaming Services using the XBox app didn’t help, neither did a log out and back in on the XBox app.
It’s not a huge deal, but it leaves a sour taste if the sim isn’t able to gracefully exit, it just remains stuck and using one CPU thread (no GPU use) constantly until I kill it.
If I load in, spawn and exit, the sim is able to exit. But if the session lasts a bit longer (like 10min+) something triggers the Exit stuck bug…
I’m also having this issue as of recently.
Today I couldn’t close my MSFS 2024 again. I had to do it via the Task Manager… 
I have found that if I exit from a flight or any area to main sim desktop, I wait until the Stranger Things starts changing the picture. Then I exit to desktop. Otherwise Steam wont upload to the cloud. I then have to task manager all the steam files to end.
I have noted that, on the PC I have this issue, that if I exit immediately from the Main Menu after returning from a flight it will hang.
Like you, if I wait and give it a few moments, it will exit cleanly, albeit after a brief delay.
