I want to adjust the sim rate so I can practise ILS with the G1000 in the C172, but pressing R and then CTRL-= doesn’t do anything. I checked in Options the bindings and it looks like this.
What am I doing wrong?

try CTRL+R and then CTRL +/-
Why do I have to press CTRL-R if the binding is just R?
You do not need to press R or assign [sim rate], only use decrease\increase sim rate will works. I assigned to + & - and it’s working without the sim rate key bind.
Thanks, how do I know what rate I have set? i.e. how to know if it’s back to normal speed?
There is only 2 lower speed rate then normal, just press decrease rate until there is no more speed change, then click 2 times increase, it’s the normal speed rate. It’s pretty obvious when you do this way.
Thanks.
I just took off from EGLL and set AP. I increased speed 4x and the AP oscillated up and down until it crashed. What am I doing wrong now? It doesn’t do that at normal speed. AP works fine.
