Since we’re told you have your reasons, I wouldn’t call it understanding lol
Today I updated the SF-260 in the 2024 Marketplace, now the Airspeed Indicator does not work, it stays on zero. I have tried disabling and re-enabling the aircraft and restarting the sim. Has anyone else got this problem or know of anything else I should try?
Thanks for any help.
I noticed that too, you just have to remove the cover from the pitot tube
same here, can’t remove the protection on the pitot tube.
I understand, it’s not very clear where you have to click.
you have to do it standing in front of the leading edge of the wing and looking for the point not directly on the cover but a little above
If you start from the runway or the parking area, press Shift + C to switch to inspection mode and remove the “Remove Before Flight” tag attached to the anemometer under the left wing. Unfortunately, I don’t know how to proceed when starting directly in flight, as I notice that the “Remove Before Flight” tag is still attached when using the external view, and to remove it I would first need to land. Do you know of any other ways to remove it while in flight?
Thanks for the solution. As usual it was operator error.
I must get into the habit of reading the manual.
the effect is what would happen in reality, but I think it’s a bug… at least we know that the pitot cover doesn’t have only an aesthetic function and I think this is valid for all the FS2024 aircraft
edit. I meant, it’s a bug that there is the cover when you leave with the plane already on the runway
to start already in flight, on the world screen simply click on a random point and select as the starting point
hello,
Pitot cover should disappear automatically if you are already flying, if it doesn’t is a bug. We will check the issue.

I have purchased the SIAI Marchetti in the Simmarket, when can I get an upgrade to the MSFS2024 version…
Many thanks for feedback
It should be absent even if I start the flight with the plane already on the runway and ready to take off
Hello,
release to these vendors in 3/4 weeks.

I am a retiree, I hope to try the sf260 and f104 for msfs2024 BEFORE I pass away…
Would be lovely if the 260EA would have TDS GTNXi support
I purchased it once for 2020 a few months before the release of 2024 and flew it a few times but I won’t be paying for it again in 2024 especially with so many developers offering free compatability upgrades to 2024.
From what I understand, this is a paid upgrade to a native 2024 version. There will be a 2024 compatible version released as well, at no cost for 2020 owners.
hello,
not exactly, the version released recently is developed natively for 2024 using the new features, we will release an upgrade EA (Enhanced Aircraft) version at no cost for 2020 and 2024 users.
