Sim stuttering for one second every minute. Please Help

I have used a few tips and tricks by various people on YouTube regarding removing the stutters in the Sim.
They seemed to work for a while and after a few smooth flights, I am getting a 1 to almost 2 second long pause/stutter in the simulation after every 55 seconds or so.

The strangest thing is that this stutter also exists in the menu of the sim while I am planning the flight, so I know during the planning phase that this will be one of the stuttering flights.

My configuration is:

RTX 3090
AMD 5900X
64 GB Ram
4k Ultra Settings at 4096 x 2160 resolution

Steps taken previously in order to remove stutters are :

The DPI Settings in the FlightSimuator.exe and properties for that
Nvidia settings for High Performance,

Please Help me, I have invested a fortune in this Simulator and the end result is that the Simulator pauses for 1 second just before touchdown and ruins the entire experience.

Google suggests it could be a wallpaper slideshow issue.

No idea about that. I am using Windows 11 and the wallpaper is the default wallpaper.

make sure " game mode " and " hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling " are both disabled …

I have done that. I have also reduced the Local Cache to Zero or non-existent.

Hi, i am having the exact same experience.
Also tried disabling multiplayer and rebuild the cache to no help

Disable antivirus and see if it stops or exclude flightsimulator.exe. I’ve seen this many times with virus checkers.

I feel this update has brought in quite a few performance issues. Before WU7 my simulation was running really well. Now im getting FPS hits all over the gaff.

Also check the process list on task manager and see if it’s an external program popping up every 55 seconds

Hmm , the problem goes away (i think) if i am having windows10 processbar open or just opening a windows application - like Process Lasso (like fullscreen off)

I had a similar issue in VR at 8 second intervals. But it was VR specific. VR adds a few extra layers of complexity that likely isn’t at play here.

Running W11 or W10?

You are on the very high side of amount of RAM for this processor. What‘s your latency?

Turn off Hardware-accelerated Gpu scheduling. That should fix your stutters

This happens to me only in bush trips. Does it happen to you outside of bush trips?
