Works fine for me and has done since the SU15 Beta 1.37.16.0 release.
The numeric Simbrief Pilot ID is required in both the EFB and the MCDU. Additionally you must use the pop-up/on screen keyboard for the EFB entry.
Can you confirm this is how you have input your user ID into the EFB?
