I am having an issue with the above. When I start the program it says there is no flight plan and to create a new one. If I click the refresh button I get the same message even though I have created a new flight plan just for testing.
I am trying to specify where I want PMDG flight plans stored, currently they go to me download folder.

Not at my PC so bear with me.
I assume you have created a flightplan in Simbrief and have “generated” it. In Downloader you need to select where you want your flightplan to be downloaded to (you can specify multiple locations, all mine also go to Little Navmap) and it offers a list. PMDG flightplans have a dedicated folder which should have been created when you installed the aircraft, which you need to locate then manually tell Downloader where it is. Check out the PMDG website for help there.
You don’t need the simbrief downloader to upload a flight plan to PMDG aircraft.
For example PMDG 737 800, when you create a new flight plan, after generating it, you can simply go to the PMDG tablet, click on “Electronic Flight Bag” > “Request Data from Simbrief” and the flight plan will be loaded without needing the simbrief downloader.
Next, in the FMC click on FLT PLAN REQUEST > Simbrief RTE > Select RTE > Load > Activate > Exec. This will load your flight plan from Simbrief into the FMC.
To make this work, you need to enter your Simbrief Alias, which is your Simbrief username, in the tablet settings.
After entering your username click “Save Preferences” to apply the changes.
Thanks for the replies. Just getting frustrated that Simbrief Downloader isn’t working as expected. Will use the PMG tablet in future.
