Recently started to fly the 787 again since the major overhaul.
I have inported my flightplan from simbrief, how do do import “perf init” page - “per init request” is greyed out.
Also, in the prog page it doesnt give me the distance to T/C or T/D for example like the PMDG 737?
Hi. Did you set your SimBrief ID into the MCDU settings page?
I have - flight plan has been picked up. I can’t import in the “init perf” page
i don’t think it works. the option was grayed out as well
However if you go to the settings page you can press the Weights and Balance page on the FMC and import your fuel and weights from your OFP there
Init Perf>Index>Settings iirc
There’s also the perf calculator on the EFB to the left where you can bring in your values from the FMC, do the calculations and export the results back to the FMC
T/D appeared for me (last i flew it) approx 160 miles to the actual point and it is marked on the ND even though it doesn’t show on the PROG page. As long as your MCP altitude is set to lower than what you’re currently at, the plane will descend on schedule
