Simbrief question and CRJ 550/700?

Hi there, If for some reason I stopped using Navigraph, Can I download the FMS data for the CRJ 550/700 from Simbrief? I have only been using Navigraph…Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

yes you can. there’s a good video on YT describing this. Can’t remember whose…sorry

Hi,

You can do this using the SimBrief downloader app. Once the flight plan is saved in Simbrief the downloader app will prompt you to save the flight plan to the destination you pre-specify.

In the CRJ you will be able to import the flight plan.

Please explain “FMS Data” …

When you mean a created flightplan in SimBrief with the default outdated cycle, then yes.

When you mean, an AIRAC cycle update for the FMS, then no.

… and last when you want to plan a flight in SimBrief with the current, effective cycle, then also no.

Cheers
Richard
