I don’t honestly see how it’s a problem.
It’s a single player game mode. The only person you’re completing with is yourself. If this was an online competitive mode then yes fine disable it. But it is not. Let people enjoy the sim how they want to and you enjoy the sim how you want to.
Sim rate adjustment hurts no one.
