The G-Effect is not working correctly right now - it’s somewhere in this thread.
Hi I got two questions:
- SimShaker JetPad - if I buy it, do I need to buy additionally any software? Or just get free SSA?
- How SSA supports add-on planes? Like Piper Arrow III and III/IV turbo? I don’t know if the SimConnect is producing the same signals for SSA, or smth? I fly mostly Arrow recently
PS. It is amazing work that you do
When I enable the piston engine rumble sound in the sound module add-on it triggers the wav file early feels very uneven.

Is there a jet engine sound as well? To me it feels like the piston effect even in the jets.
I got the Jetpad - Jetseat from Andre’s Shop and I love it in DCS the modules have their own profiles. Will it work with MSFS the same way or will it just vibrate with sound? I really want to use it for the PMDG DC-6 and Flyinside Bell 47. If anyone has tried it pls let me know
Its a pain but he is a cool dude and his follow up is on point! He got the only product in town and its great!
Is this plug and play with Jetseat from Andre’s Shop or do you still need the old FSX simconnect.dll
I am so sorry to ask in this forum and I hope I won’t get lynched
But, is there any plan to add a Vibration During Turbulence option for X-Plane as in MSFS ???
You still need the legacy dll
Currently not. I need to work on that but not in the next future…
For jet iirc there are 4 separate sound files - low, med, high and afterburner
Standard sound module file is definitely lacking IMHO for jet feeling but they are distinct files so you can customise your own… need to be a bit careful to avoid too much of a difference between each file otherwise there’s a hard transition between effects as you advance the thrust lever.
Okay thanks for the quick response! Does using the legacy dll cause issues with add on planes like PMDG DC6?
You are legendary! I just want you to know
I don’t have any payware addon plane thus I can not comment on this…
Highly recommend PMDG DC6! I hope no one gets intimidated by it… it’s just awesome! If anyone can let me know if the DC6 or fly inside’s Bell 47 work with the jetseat and the legacy dll that would be splendid:)
Thanks! Do you know of any custom files that people have made and shared?
I have received my jetpad last week and have been fumbling around with the turbulence editor to get the best effect. One thing I can’t get right is the duration of the ‘bump’ effect of turbulence. Most of the time it creates a longer vibration, something my body does not recognise as a short bump. It should be possible because runway bumps are felt like short bumps. Anybody lucky with this?
is there no way to dampen jetliner engine rumble in the air? i see “dampen piston engine rumble effect by” in the special options menu but it doesn’t seem to do anything (in a jetliner at least).
The engine rumble in the jet is too much in the air and in an annoying looped rhythm and makes it so you basically cannot feel turbulence with it on
Not yet, but I’ll add this feature in a next release…
When is next release expected?
While I have been running the last beta versions without any problems the last weeks I now experience an issue. This started after the MSFS sim update V last week.
After a while I don’t feel the effects of the Jetseat anymore. When I check the Simshaker application it says that the Jetseat state is ok and the application is receiving simconnect data. However I need te restart the whole app to get the seat working again.
Asobo made several changes to the core of the sim and there are other simconnect issues. I wonder if this had to do with it?
