Hello, see the image below, it informs that it occupies 1.62 GB on Drive H which is where the Simulator is installed, but the Simulator has more than 80 GB, why not inform the correct amount of space occupied?
That is just the core files. The rest of the “Packages” are what take up the rest of the space.
Guess you’re looking in the wrong path ? Tclayton is right, it is official packages you’re looking for. That’s the big one.
Here I have 150GB in LocalCache\Packages\Official ![]()
Btw it’s useless to try make a backup from this. No privs to restore (or restore properly)
I’m guessing you have the top-level pack, along with some Marketplace addons. I only have the mid-grade pack, and with both Official and Community, I’m only at 144GB.
I run Store version of Premium Deluxe and I’ve several Marketplace items. Maybe the largest one is Hungary West, that was a 2GB download.. I also have Chicago O’Hare airport, which was more than 1GB. My Community backup folder is ca 35GB, the big ones are Norway DEM and Austria DEM.
That’s one thing that won’t be changing anytime soon. Mesh files for FS9 were the same way - by far the largest single entries on the scenery page. (You not only had to put the folders in place, but you had to activate them in the sim and do so in the correct order.)
ArcanePython931, Negative, I know exactly where I install my programs, it’s in Driver H yes, see image below, only with MSFS happens that Microsoft likes to complicate things, afff.
