sIMVARS Needed for DA40 NG Electric Master Switch

Hello:
I am trying to control the DA40 NG Electric Master Switch from the X-Touch Mini and SPAD.neXt so I am looking for the simulation variables that:

  1. Turns the switch to the ‘On’ position.
  2. Momentarily turns on the starter to start the engine.
For the life of me I cannot find the simvars that will work. I have spent all afternoon looking and I am at a complete loss.

Any assistance would be most appreciated!! Thanks.

1 (>K:MASTER_BATTERY_ON)
1 (>K:ALTERNATOR_ON)
(A:GENERAL ENG STARTER:1, Bool) if{ 0 (>K:SET_STARTER1_HELD) }

You can find many variables here: https://hubhop.mobiflight.com/presets/

@Sunday748 Unfortunately, the solution you suggest uses MobiFlight and not SPAD.neXt. So, the events you list are mobiflight events and don’t help me. But thanks for replying!

Should be the same variable, because Mobiflight is using the sim variables. Different syntax probably.
I added a lot of A310 variable to that portal when the A310 shown up first in the sim and they all came from the dev-mode of msfs.

@Sunday748 I looked in SPAD and none existed. In fact, when I looked them up in mobi, it said they were mobi events.

Spad.next
1
MASTER_BATTERY_ON
ALTERNATOR_ON

2
ENGINE_MASTER_1_TOGGLE
SET_STARTER1_HELD

Thanks. As I thought, same variable but different syntax to work with.

Hello, all:
You got it spot on. However, as usual, when I asked the question I had only thought it out half way. I really wanted it to be able to go the other way, too. So I came up with the following:

  1. Electric Master to ‘ON’ - TOGGLE_MASTER_BATTERY
  2. Engine Master to ‘ON’ - TOGGLE_ALTERNATOR1
    - ENGINE_MASTER_1_TOGGLE
  3. Electric Master to ‘START’ - SET_STARTER1_HELD

So, in starting, the sequence is 1 2 3; in shuting down, it’s 2 1. I used the extra step so that I could more closely follow the checklist!
Earlier, I spent all my time looking for ‘Engine Master’ and ‘Electric Master’ so that just shows my inexperience. But I thank all of you very much!!

It’s not unusual when inexperienced. I faced it so many times with so many different themes in my live.
Finally you got your solution and we could help you out with it.
