SimWorks Studios and PILOT'S Dash 7!

Do you have the marketplace WT GNS package? That should probably replace the default GPS with the WT

Yes, it’s installed but not working. I only have the default GPS working.

When the GPS is first booting up, what version is displayed on the bottom of the screen? It should say WT 1.1.10.

Ever since AAU1, the Working Title GNS 430/530 already is the default version in the sim. The marketplace version confirms this - “installing this package will upgrade any plane using the original GNS430 or 530 to the new code shipped with AAU1”. If the Dash 7 already supports the version from AAU1 there will be no functional difference.

If it doesn’t say WT 1.1.10 then definitely there is something wrong somewhere.

Does the Dash 7 come with the British Antarctic livery? As i see some of the screenshots showing it but it’s not listed in the included liveries list

LOVE the Dash 7 Addon - BUT - why are the props running at FULL RPM’s with conditions levers in feather position when on the ground? when in flight and i pull the props levers back to feather the RPMs go down and props go to feather as expected - but on the ground, no matter where i put the prop levers, prop RPMs are at FULL rpm… is this realistic?

control setteing?

This has already been mentioned. If you like to scroll back you should find that post and I think that there is a response from the developers.

The dash 7 randomly shuts down in mid flight and goes off power a lot so far during my around the world flight attempt without crashing failed so I’m gonna have to scrap this around the world flight attempt I was doing until it’s fixed

Never happened to me.
Do you have the Bravo - binding issue?

I also fly the dash 7 a lot, and have had no issues with it.
Another thing that can often cause issues like this is a mod conflict.

I have the old Logitech controller before it was Logitech and I have been having by wired problems by the view randomly switching back and fourth multiple times when I never touched the controller button but I think I might to get new gear because I had controller problems before with the atr

Documentation on this plane is woeful
Are there any better camera views?
I’m not sure why i need to keep jumping seats rather than a closer view of instruments.
Also reverse thrust is glitchy one minute it will go in other times even though my physical levers are in the reverse position in the cockpit they are on idle and i have to move them back n forth a few times

There is a Manual/POH on flightsim.to if it helps

Thank you for the heads up, I will check for that.

Other than the fact that I am biased towards the Dash 7 since I work on them every day IRL, I am really enjoying the Pilot’s Dash 7. Once you learn to work with the model, learn its quirks and how to operate it, it is a blast to fly it. It is rock solid on approaches, I set it to 100 kt and glide down easily to a smooth landing. Easy to trim, easy to throttle, set power, etc. I landed on a tiny grass runway in Italy, 1975 ft long, and was able to fly out of there by standing on the brakes and giving it full power on the threshold. The aircraft was light (empty cabin with only 25% fuel), and with flaps at 45 it was airborne by 80 kt at the end of the runway. What other 50-seater airplane can do that? None.

can someone just hint what position condition levers should be in for TO, cruise and Landing, i had real issues slowing it down

Max for TO and Landing, 1070 rpm for the rest of the flight.

My yoke is so old it saw fs2004 when it was the latest flight simulator and it saw the release date of fsx and fs2020

Use the checklist available on flightsim.to, it replicates very well real life checklists. Power levels are set by rpm, torque or fuel flow for different phases of flight.
