Identical issue, thanks. I noticed that if I call for a pushback, I’m able to start rolling forward again. Unfortunately that’s not always available when I fly. I also get some strange “not normal” behavior when in the water at times. Like uncontrollable rudder steering.
Try cycling the gear lever. (Yes, raise the gear on the groud… really!) Fixed it for me.
Pushing back a little with ctrl-shft-p worked for me.
I tried that a couple of times but didn’t work. Thanks for the advice, I’ll give it another shot.
I’m still getting a sudden pitch down of the aircraft when disengaging the autopilot on short finals. I wonder if anything can be done about that.
Where is the updates for the previous Kodiak on Xbox also I don’t see the amphibious version in msfs market to buy either
Updates and new products only go on the marketplace after Microsoft has reviewed them, which usually takes a few days to weeks.
Months at the most. ![]()
Go to their Discord page and post your problem. If enough people complain about the pitch down, they will fix it.
I get this sometimes as I disengage the ap. I think it depends on where the elevator trim is at when it is disengaged. It is fairly easy to correct with some trim adjustment.
Was doing some night flying in the wheeled mixed version and noticed a couple of small things with interior lighting. Passengers have no light maps and appear as black shadows, as does any cargo. Curiously, there are light maps for the passenger seatbelts and these light up fine. Shining the flashlight on these objects works. Also, cargo flashes red with the beacon but emptying the cargo stops this. Don’t recall if these were apparent prior to recent updates. Again, small things but perhaps something for future patches. I only mention these as SWS appears to have taken great care and effort to provide us with decent interior lighting options.
I have a simple interim fix for the nose-down w/AP Disengage. I found that it only happens once during final approach, so I simply early cycle the AP OFF and then quickly back ON again (one second) to re-establish the descent and then while on the glidepath the final AP disengagement does NOT result in an aircraft pitch change.
Are you talking a few points of trim down or going in like a meteor?
For those that have no seen it, v 1.3.8 is out:
v1.3.8
-Fixed throttle issues reported with previous version
-Improved Ng effect on engine cooling, dry-motoring is faster
-Added missing glareshield and ice light effects
-Increased propeller thrust
-Modified G1000 screens to make use of new auto-brightness logic
-Fixed missing heat effect on right exhaust of some variants
-Adjusted Amphibian drag
-Removed selectable AI Amphibian
I got an email on Wednesday that there’s another update. Is that version 1.3.8?
Probably, that changelog is from the Just Flight store who are probably a day or two behind.
The correct number is 1.3.6, either we or JF made a typo in our correspondence.
But that’s the version that was released from you on Wednesday in your store?
We released 1.3.5 on Sunday and 1.3.6 on Wednesday. We sent it to JF as well, but probably typed the wrong number in our e-mail. JF have 1.3.6, there is no 1.3.8.
