Now sixish week from release, I must say that I am quite pleased with the performance of the sim on my 6 yr old i5-9600 w/32GB RAM and updated in 2022 with a 3060Ti. Frame rates consistently > 25fps. CTDs are rare.
Most of my flights are IFR < 500 mi in the TBM Daher.
What has been disappointing is the Routing/ATC created with the EFB. Whether done in the app itself, or on the online flight planner, often ATC will not correspond to avionics routing and vice versa, I’ll be instructed to fly to FL350 when I should be descending for my approach. Or an ATC message that I am requesting to be routed to my original destination. I don’t remember MSFS2020 being like this even early on.
Hoping that the next update will clear some of this up!

As I sit here 45 minutes after trying to start a flight - MSFS 2024 will not load in. Top of the line everything, 500mBps solid connection - get garbage. Restarts and reboots do nothing.
Yeah ain’t ready for prime time anything yet. And a loooong way to go. Good to see some folks having a good time though.
I have to agree with the OP, things are working well here on a mid-level PC. I have had many successful flights. I get around the limitations of in-sim ATC by using BATC, which is well worth it. Significant progress has been made by MS/Asobo since launch, eliminating CTDs, bugs and compatibility issues. All but one of my purchased planes (PMDG 737) are compatible. The much faster startup of about 3.5 minutes is very nice. A few stutters now and then, but otherwise clear skies!
same here, come a long way since i first got it right after release…still getting some random CTDs a few times a week thou…kinda annoying but it wasnt unheard of in P3D (where I migrated straight to '24 from)

I have to say I never thought from the disastrous start that 2024 would be as good (for me) as it is now. No CTDs, and my stutters are much better than they were in 2020. I still don’t like some of the stupid changes, like having to do the walk-around before flying, but hopefully they’ll address that soon.
