Could the Asobo devs please get rid of this “press any key to start” screen. I find it pointless and takes away time. When I load up the sim I want to get straight into the menu and setup my flight. All these intros and the “press any key to start” screen is annoying. The original FSX, P3D and X-Plane do not have any of this and is straight forward. Please optimize the loading process to make it take us directly to the menus.

Yep - just searched if there was a way to disable all the splash screens - ugh!
It definitely feels like a console thing. Most games I’ve played that have a press to start splash screen came out on console first. Just like quitting to menu rather than quitting straight to desktop.
There is a workaround by editing the shortcut, but agreed - there should be a toggle to just get into the sim bypassing the splash screens and static intro.

I wonder if we can edit one of the json files or just rename the video.
I hope they add something like that. But for now, you can add -fastlaunch to the end of the .exe during launch. If using Steam, go to Set Launch Options in the Properties. Sadly you’ll have to re-enter it each update. The recent update put everything back to default settings.
