Slew Not working in new SDK

In development, we use slew all the time. I was using it fine this morning. I “had” to do the update and now slew doesn’t work in SDK Dev Mode. (It works with Dev off). Anybody else having this problem?

If you go to the camera options under the developer menu you can use slew from there

Yes, you can “move around” but your airplane stays where it is. I use the slew in DEV mode to set up the water runways for the things I’m building. You need to slew the plane there to get the heading, etc. You can’t do that in the Developers Camera view. You can move around, but you cannot tell a heading, etc. This only happens when you have a project OPEN by the way. Slew works in Dev mode until you open a project (the only time you really need it).

I have the exact same issue. I need to slew with my project open but as soon as the project opens, slew stops working and in fact, once that happens, I can’t get back to the options screen, without closing all projects. It seems to get stuck in a semi-crashed mode. I’m surprised there’s not more threads on any other forums talking about this. Did you ever figure it out?

In View options, camera settings (in the SDK menu) make sure your camera pan/rotation speed slider is set to a higher percentage.

I had the same issue with a recent sdk update, using the developer camera. It would not move, till I realized the camera speed slider was set to zero. I turned slider % upto 50 and it works great.

Slew in DEV mode will only work if the simulation is UNPAUSED.
