Brief description of the issue:
Slew translation axis set to game controller joysticks has changed and no longer works beyond small nudges. When I push an axis assigned to a slew translation mode, X, Y or Z directions, it starts to move but only a little and then I have to release and push the axis again to get movement again. This used to smoothly move the aircraft as long as I kept the axis moved. I think this may have changed when the X Box version was released. This has basically rendered variable rate slew useless with this controller, I have to assign buttons because the axis controls barely function. The axis shows good input data when moved while in the Sensitivity settings. So it’s not the controller, it’s something in the slewing code. Or some kind of input conflict?

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:
Set a Slew Translate Axis to a game controller joystick. Enter slew mode and move the axis. The aircraft move only a little bit then stops no matter how far or how long you move the joystick and you have to release the joystick and push it again to nudge the aircraft another 20 or 30 feet.
