So only just re installed MSFS and noticed during a couple of flights a fairly regular slight pause during flight along with a slight audio glitch at the same time. I’ve now noticed this on initial load up of the game to the menu screen and after re installing all drivers and removing community folder it’s still there. In Dev mode fps counter when I get the pause and audio glitch everything drops to zero at that very point then picks back up to normal again. I didn’t notice this ever before re install my set ups the same. No issues with performance running 5800x3d 32gb ram and 3080 tuf 12gb seems odd it’s only happened since re install but it’s ruined any chance of enjoying the sim so decided to re install again and see what happens… Anyone else had similar? I could to a point live with the visual pause as it only a few 100 milliseconds if that, but when you hear the glitch aswell I can’t put up with that. ![]()
A couple of months or so ago I had a similar problem (pre SU10) with a slight audio glitch and a very slight pause/lag/stutter. After doing a bucket load of other stuff first (which proved a complete waste of time!) I eventually reinstalled/updated my audio driver and updated the software on my logitech headphones. Thankfully, that sorted the issue. It was pretty frustrating at the time!
There could be loads of reasons for why this is happening on your own system but anyway I thought I’d mention this for what it’s worth ![]()
Thanks well halfway through another reinstall… So will see what happens I’m only running my headphones direct into the 3.5mm jack will try re doing all my audio and chipset drivers again aswell if not it’s getting re formatted ![]()
Really hope you get it sorted. I must admit it was a bit ‘immersive breaking’ and, as I mentioned above, pretty annoying ![]()
Thanks
yeah abnormal sounds really annoy me ![]()
What about sound setting in the sim settings? Do you have manually selected Main Device Output and Communication Device Output? I had problem with this settings couple weeks ago and manually selection of my devices solved this problem.
Hi that all seems to of been sorted yesterday after I re installed all drivers, msfs, re flashed bios…
That’s cool ![]()
