But this is not a server issue good luck, just a slow installing performance problem.

Perhaps the servers are working hard for the downloads worldwide and so less capacity for 2-way traffic for the setups?

Been on 97% for 50 mins now, ridiculous.

I dunno what “15% - Activating packages…” means it’s doing but it’s not touching the network. :slight_smile:

Once you get past somewhere around 20% you should be faster some of my friends got past after somewhere between 15% and 25%

Same here. First time I’ve closed the window during “Personalizing your experience” cause seems freezed. Restarted the game, and now I’m back to “package activation 8%” :slight_smile:

Installation completed.
Restarted the sim.
Back at 6% loading language :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

I got the same thing, but then thought maybe it was fetching the language resources for those additional packages. Guess I’ll find out on next load.

I’m perplexed MS can’t get this right. They sell cloud services yet can’t provision enough servers to make the release of their own product smooth.

Guys!. I think we need to change the topic here. Just got in, changed the graphics (Texture Resolution - > High). Restarted the sim, again stuck at loading language 6%. So it is NOT initial!!. It is every time you launch the sim!. Whenever there is a high server load, I think we are done!.

IKR? I work with Azure infrastructure. I have no idea why they aren’t spawning all the virtual servers they need.
