Hi all
While in X-Plane 11 I was able to start from almost ANY airfield like even the one small grass strip just 20min from my house, FS2020 seems not to list those in the flying selection window. It is there though, I went looking for it and found it and even landed on it. But why is it not listed / not possible to choose as a starting point in the flight config window? Or am I missing something?

Its fairly common it seems. Several small airstrips in my area are also missing. I went to Google Maps and got the coordinates and was able to paste it in as a custom departure location in the game though. Then I was able to take off. However I was facing the wrong direction and had to first turn around.
They need more options for custom departures, such as setting your initial heading.
Just use slew mode by pressing “Y” Then using numpad 1 & 3 to spin yourself around, means you don’t have to turn around.
