I know myself and others would appreciate smoother autopilot inputs from the flight management system. I have noticed that many of the inputs by the autopilot are to dramatic and abrupt.
I can only assume this is caused by instant change in trim deflection. This is not limited to the light aircraft but also on the airbus where the autopilot would have sent everybody into a weightless state with the large nose over attitude change. This attribute applies to the roll as well.
