So I set a failure option for the Diamond DA62 to trigger an engine fire at some random point in my flight.
I took off heading for my destination, and about 20 minutes into the flight, everything is fine and I just happened to jump to the external view and noticed one of my engines had this little poof of smoke coming out the back. Oh that must be the engine fire…that’s probably been going on for a long time. No warnings, no loss of power, the plane continued to fly just fine…on fire to my destination.
So are failures not working correctly? I haven’t tried the other failure options yet.
