Some examples of basic things you would find in a simple software functionality testing…
Load every airplane at night… Do all the lights work inside and out. NO…
When you set sim rate does it work correct in flight… NO…
Both the world moves at 2X, 4X or 8X but the airplane and all its systems still think they are in 1X. So flight time and in some cases fuel burn is still in 1X. So you do a 4 hour flight and get 1 hour of fuel burn and flight clock shows one hour.
You can go on and on with simple basic functionality that is not working that is critical to game play and simulation.
So we all paid $100-200 to be beta testers for Microsoft? I know a few people who already received refunds and will consider buying it again in six months when it is ready.
I want to support the simulator but making us pay full price for a game that is at best a beta is not treading the us with any respect.
It is now obvious why they didn’t allow a public beta test because if this was better known it would have had a huge impact on sales.
