So I have 2 machines 1 a desktop with a 1080 and an install that ran flawlessly up until the last patch. I installed FS on the gaming notebook 1660 last Sunday. Both machines did exactly the same thing.
Yesterday, I fired up the notebook because the Desktop machine was busy with other things. And dont you know I flew 8 1/2 hours non-stop (okay well I landed here and there to take breaks) and maintained 30-40 the whole time on Ultra.
Went back to the Desktop and it was still chugging away at 15-20 fps. So I uninstalled the game, went through the registry / hd and deleted everything I could find for msfs. And started the DL at 8:00 pm eastern expecting when I get up in the morning I could try again. Well guess what this POS software is still downloading at a whopping 5-10mbs and is barley 1/2 way through.
Now Id goto the other machine to play because if I do it will log me off of steam on that machine and kill my download, and from what I have seen if you ‘pause’ the download it will start from scratch all over again…
So maybe tomorow I’ll come in here and tell you how great it is running now, and that everybody shoud blah blah blah … but Im betting not!
