Ok good explanation, But I really dont think it is a good thing to make weather hyperactive or artificially make it worse to give perception, as that is just unrealistic. A 25 Kt X Wind should feel like a 25Kt wind and not like a 50Kt one and all the bouncing around. When I did my PPL many moons ago we flew into weather, the trainer took over but we were not bouncing around all over the place, in fact he showed me that even in trim the plane will gently rise and drop and not to be aggressive with the controls or chase the needles/horizon just keep it steady.
In the sim my plane is bouncing around like crazy with 4kt winds (GA planes). I’m not saying it isn’t real, but it feels fake. Also I now mostly turn off FS Realistic as that makes it even worse.
