Just wonder where is Nvidia 5090 GPU…2 and a half months from release and no sign of any cards from any manufacturer here in UK. What is the availability in your part of the world ?
I just checked with distributors, they expect 200 pieces across all vendors until the end of the month for all Switzerland.
That is poor indeed, sorry to hear that. Saying that… is better than “0” around here.

In UAE, 3-4 cards sold by scalpers at prices between 6.000 and 8.000 USD currently.
I will just wait for better times, also considering the ROP issue it’s a total fiasco of a launch for nVidia.

Believe it or not, I did manage to get a 5090 for the build I am doing. The hold up on doing the build is for some reason the thermal pad for the CPU. First one I bought the box shipped was missing the thermal pad in it. Second order the vendor cancelled 2 weeks after I made the order. Third one the FedEx driver took a picture of the package in front of my door, and then walked back to the truck with the package (reported to FedEx). Fourth one, the vendor waited 1.5 weeks before shipping, and it is in transit now.
I should just break down and use thermal paste. But after 2 months of this, if I went without a pad, everytime I saw my CPU temperature I would be annoyed about the pad.
Availability in Germany and all of Europe still terrible. You can get one right away if you’re willing to pay 4k+, very difficult if not though.
