So, i just updated windows (windows 11) and jumped into the sim, and 2 flights in, its completely smooth, no stutters at all ?!! one was a GA flight in africa, but the 2nd was KLAS to KDEN and was 60fps whole way, even in the cockpit was 55-60fps (4k, ultra, rtx3090) !! its like a dif sim tbh

Yea true some have it some don’t
I think it’s mostly a matter of perception as the extreme culling affects everyone but not everyone finds it so infuriating. If there is any difference then those least affected probably have a fast vram clock.

Everyone will have their own tolerance level for frustration, and how they express that. Some will shrug, others will come to the forums to vent.
The worst case scenario for me is flying low level over busy scenery, like a PG city, when I tap my hat switch to switch from looking left, to then looking right. Moving at 45 degree increments is much less noticeable, and moving with the mouse slowly it’s almost indiscernible.
I’d like it to not do that, but at the same time I’m not screaming that the sims broken. I’d like to claim it doesn’t affect my flying but it does. Looking about while in the pattern can cause a lot of stuttering as I switch views, and I have high hopes the caching sliders in WU6 will alleviate this.

yep… I also assume we can all see a increasment of cpu load while panning ( in case you open extra for that the task-manager or switch to dev-mode , what I not do ) . But this increasment cause not in each case an noticable issue. I have no stutters because of this and I assume the video from OP in other topic is again a “on top” worst case.

Delete of KB5005033 for seems to have stopped the 2 second pauses every 5 second which i have sufferred since 4 days ago, also i have empty some folders in the username/packages/microsoft.Flightsimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe/LocalCache/$PC$/USERS/USERNAME/APPDATA/LOCAL/MSFSPACKAGES/COMMUNITY. folder
In This one folder i found very old stuff which i thought ive deleted long ago from the original community folder but it apparently it leave stuff in this folder whitout furter attention.
As well as
username/packages/microsoft.Flightsimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe/LocalCache/SimObjects. folder
Anyway it does not affect anything for it recreate stuff that you ccurrently do use

That folder contains the state.cfg, and camera.cfg files for each aircraft. Those files contain your custom camera settings, as well as Hobbs meter data.
