Solution to Stutters, CTDs, any other probs

So, after the latest update and a whole variety of new problems (see title), I stumbled across a solution to all! It’s laughingly called Reinstall. I uninstall MSFS and then to the MS Store, whereupon, in ‘My Library’, I find the three MSFS files. I click on MSFS flight Simulator to ‘Install’. It runs for 10 seconds trying to download 130 KB and then proclaims ‘Error’ and ‘See Details’. Here’s where I find error 0x800073D26. I’m given an opportunity to ‘Report Error’ (Operators are Standing By… NOT, this is Microsoft, there are no people to assist you). You can then join your displeasure with hundreds, maybe more people reporting the same error and no solution in sight. So now I have thousands of dollars and sooo many hours invested in a broken down app. Beautiful, just F%@#$*G beautiful…

Have you tried resetting the microsoft store?

Thanks, but yes I have. Twice. I’m just flabbergasted. I think in might be cheaper and more beneficial to my mental health to just open a new account and but the F^#%$%#^G thing again…

I think it just wanted to know that I was sincere in my attempts to reset. Did the reset two more times with the sacrificial chicken (KFC Extra Crispy), uttered the curse words that seemed appropriate (with no children around) told it to install the Sim and, fingers crossed it seems to be working. Downloading 85+ GB at the moment. One hopes it will finish. One hopes that the abnormal Mod behavior and Developer Mode issues will be fixed. One hopes the hangover is minimal come sunrise :grin:
