[Solved]Mixture Control only moves for part of bound axis

Basically I have the mixture bound to one of my “throttle” axies (on my X55). The Mixture Control only moves for the last 1/2 of the throw. So at 50% the Mixture Control in the aircraft is at “Cut-off”.

The mixture control appears to be set up in a similar manner to the throttle but the throttle works as expected.

The output display in the control setup shows the axis responding over the whole range.

Tested on Asobo – Cessna 152 and Black Box – BN2 Islander.

Tested with empty Community folder.

Wondered if anyone else was having the same issue or knows what I am doing wrong?

Thanks to all who replied.

So to clarify (because I needed it) there are 2 Mixture Axis that you can set. In my case I needed to use the Mixture Axis (-100 to 100%)

Have you checked the response in the Windows calibration?

Are you using:

  • Mixture axis 0 to 100%

or

  • Mixture axis -100 to 100%

They have different ranges. Determine which you are using and try the other one to see if it alters the usability of the full axis range.

As Nix said.
0 - 100 is used for throttle, mixture & propeller.
It can be used for other things, but that’s more advanced use.

100 - 100 is used for things that need a center point of 0.
( centered or at a neutral position )
Rudder, ailerons, elevator.

Yep what Nixon said. I had this issue with the Authentikit Comanche throttle. Switched to the other axis type and now it works.
