Hi. After a lot of flights with FBW A320, PMDG 737-700 and Aerosoft CRJ, I decided to buy the Fenix A320. What an error! I have several issues, first of all the EFB in the cockpit is dark. I tried infinite combinations to solve the problem (run as admin and so on) and Fenix released an update yesterday. But still no solution for EFB and Thrustmaster TCA Airbus, although I followed several tutorials to solve these issues.
I opened tickets but after 48 hours the still haven’t answered.
Incredible for a payware!

You need to open the Fenix app and login in there as well. You need to keep the app running in the background before you start MSFS. If your app is closed, the EFB and the flight instuments will go dark and unusable, so you can literally drop out of the sky if the app gets closed for some reason.
Another thing to note is that, once you login to your PC, it will be locked to that PC indefinitely. If you have any other MSFS installed in another PC or laptop, and have Fenix installed in there as well, you won’t be able to login in that other PC/laptop. Even uninstalling from the first PC doesn’t help, you’re still unable to login. So be very careful. There’s also a possibility that you get locked out from logging in as well if you change/upgrade your hardware because now you’ll have a different Hardware ID setup.

To keep it this simple, we do tie each license to one machine at this time, but as soon as our colleagues in Ukraine are back up and running we’ll be expanding this out to 3 machines and generally improving the process. For what it’s worth, you can swap install PCs as many times as you like, just ping support and they’ll reset it immediately, no questions asked.

I’m really glad I decided not to buy this one. It’s one of the only aircraft I don’t own, and the drawbacks I’ve seen outweigh any positivity.

I’m already feeling a buyers remorse after completing just a single flight in the Fenix.
Thanks for that… But 12 hours in, and I’m still waiting for a response… I don’t suppose their definiton of reset it immediately means Mon-Fri at 9am-5pm?

I know it’s frustrating if the thing you just bought doesn’t work.
But I really think they are trying their best and will get this sorted for every one. It is bound to happen that some people have issues. I would suggest you try to be patient for a bit for them to get through the immediate storm, it really is worth it.

Okay when Fenix has added such extreme DRM to their product, I am sure they are able to give out a demo software for their airplane to test it a weekend long… 
Is such a feature planned?
In a different flight simulator, it´s name must not be called here, such a demo feature is available and all aircraft and helicopters can be tested every year for a full week (and thanks to that feature I found out how much I like the look and feel of the Mil-Mi Hind 24 D cockpit! And how awesome the flight dynamics are and therefore consider the Hind a must-buy, even without having much interest in helicopters.)
I am very hesitant to buy expensive payware without getting a demo version because I´ve found out only Carenado fixes visual bugs and graphics errors, many other developer just keep graphics glitches, ugly textures, 3D-polygon-mesh bugs, clipping objects, and whatnot forever just like the way they are - with some “pff… WHATEVER! The main systems are running and that´s good enough!” attitude.
But I am more perfectionist and that´s why I absolutely need visual bugs and graphics glitches in the VC patched too, not only flawed cockpit systems. 
Or even better: Visual flaws not existing in the VR in the first place.
A demo can show how an airplane VR looks like from all angles and how it feels.
Thanks to a demo I have found out how much I like the awesome interior + flying the Mi24 Hind heli - and maybe the Airbus will become a must-have too after enjoying it for free for a weekend.

No almost certainly not. I’ve never heard of such an extended demo in flight simulators. But hey, a girl can dream…

You see that was the opposite experience for me, I opened the app prior to starting MSFS and I could not access the EFB. It was driving me nuts thinking I needed a 4 pin code to access, now I can access EFB without starting the app.
The beuty of the Sim so many different issues
Now I just load Fenix and app loads automatically and voila can access EFB

Well the 4-pin code is a gimmick, right? I just press the thumb icon on the EFB and it logs me in… or that I just put a random 4-pin code and it puts me in as well.

Yeah I know that (I know I am not Intelligent but not that thick), what I am saying I loaded the app then loaded MSFS got into cockpit A320 every time I pressed the fingerprint I briefly saw the icons and went back to 4 pin code fingerprint access. I was getting to the point do I need a 4 pin code:rofl:
I was even using my pin number for my Tablet…thats how desperate I was…or 1234
Now I just load MSFS in Fenix Cockpit I can access the EFB. I dont load the app prior to starting MSFS…thats what weird Pilots having different issues.
I was really considering the A320, but I will shelf it for now, as I don’t want or need the same odyssey as it was with FSL. I went for the PMDG for now and, without starting any versus discussion, should be busy enough until the 320 is fixed.
But, thanks to you for helping me with my decision.

I guess it depends on what you’re looking for in an A320 simulation, to be honest. I’m not saying one is better than the other. For me, even though I have done a single flight in the Fenix A320 successfully, I can’t seem to justify the price I paid for it, since I’m using Fenix 95% the same thing as I’ve been using the FBW A32NX.

That’s your choice but it seems silly given that 99% of people are reporting nothing but good things. You’re only going to see the people with issues post here so this is not a way to make a decision.
But it’s your loss…

Works great for me, took a while to figure out how to load flight plan, but im up and running now, i love it.

Ok. What do you want I say in my case? I’m unlucky?
I can only say that I have very smooth flights with FBW, PMDG and Aerosoft. So, for sure it doesn’t depend on my PC and software/addons configuration, but it depends on Fenix. And also don’t answer to tickets after some days is no good.
This is a my personal opinion.
And this to buy this software is a mistake of mine.
