I will continue to hold out hope that somehow, somewhere, someone will finally fix the crash to desktop issue this has had since release. I find it totally unbelievable that I am still unable to fly the simplest mission of 46 miles, GPS direct VFR in a 172! I have jumped through so many hoops trying to get a program to work that should have done what every other Flight Simulator before it has done - at least work when released but my $120 product has never been able to even do that. This is on a Dell Inspiron 5680 I7-8700 CPU @ 3.2 ghz w/16G ram and a Nvidia GTX1060 card w/another 6GB memory. Definitely over there minimum requirements. And, yes, I have everything updated and have deleted and reinstalled many many times. I really hope someone out there is reading this as posting things on their Zendesk seems like sending a letter to Mars.
Well I have never had 1 single CTD or installation problem.

Same, haven’t had any CTDs in last few patches. Hate to say this, but maybe try completely uninstalling and reinstalling.

Do you have anything overclocked AT ALL?
I would not even know how to overclock something - just know that every other version of Flight Simulator (and I have owned every one of them since the first one came out) has played out of the box on anything that met minimum requirements. I should not have to modify anything on my machine to make their program work.
