So now I have an issue with the sound via my Quest 2, in the sim and anything via Link It is cracking and skipping sounds however standalone quest use is fine, no crackles evident.
Wonder if anyone else is experiencing this after having the quest software update?

I actually did start noticing sound crackle/stuttering as well for the first time, prompting me to start messing with sound drivers, and suddenly the VR video aspect was noticeably improved all for no reason seemingly out of the blue.
And then I realized the Oculus software had been updated to v25 explaining the smoother graphics but yours is the first post mentioning the sound and it didn’t occur to me that perhaps v25 was playing a role in that.
I also found some talk about it in the Oculus forum v25 discussion.

I tested it and it like it was the V25 updated that was forced on me. I redownloaded the oculus software and then didn’t opt in the beta version so managed to keep version 23 which has been fine. Hopefully this will be just a bug that will get worked out.
