just wondering is there away mute the sound if on long distence flight and need to work on pc

Yes right click on your speaker in your windows task bar and go into the volume mixer and turn flight sim audio down or mute.

Open Volume Mixer in Windows 10. It allows lowering volume of MSFS 2020.
