Yes, you’re right, an-26 is very archaic but even simplified version would make me happy. Maybe not asobo level of simplicity, but, you know, just simpler than, say, Fenix a320 or PMDG products 
That level of “simple” should make it easier for Cockspur to actually manufacture the aircraft and would allow us, people with not even a vague idea how soviet aircraft work, to enjoy occasional stroll
