Not really. They only owe what they promise in the contract when you buy the product.
And by contract I’m not referring to a piece of paper but to the things that are announced, advertised with the product.
For example a developer might say “here is my Mig-31 at $20” or they can say “here is my Mig-31 at $20, includes future updates for free, this is the roadmap of planned updates, support is free on the Discord server and will be compatible with MSFS”
You pay for what you are told not for what your imagination tells you.
