[SPECIAL NVIDIA PRIZE] Weekly Screenshot Challenge: Dream Vacation

Seattle Washington where I went to the 1962 World’s Fair as a young boy and couldn’t take my eyes off the Goodyear Blimp doing tight orbits arount the top of the Seattle Space Needle. I still think the Space Needle looks futuristic after all these years. I have visited a couple of times since and would love to again after the borders reopen.

Beautiful Vancouver BC where the mountains and the city meet the sea. This shot of the default Pitts Special showing off it’s checkboard underside while doing a sharp left bank over the Seaplane base, takes in the downtown waterfront, Stanley Park, and the north shore mountains. Stanley Park is widely recognized as one of the best urban parks in the world.

London England. Looking through the upper portion of the London Eye as the Pitts Special makes a low flypast silouetted against the sunset. The Palace of Westminster and Buckingham Palace are lit up below. One of the neat things about flight simulation, is we can fly through places we would never be allowed to in the real world. I was fortunate to visit London once about 25 years ago and would love to go again if I could.

All screenshots were taken at 1080p with the help of my trusty 1070TI. Hope to upgrade to a 2k or 4k monitor if fortunate enough to win. I’ve really enjoyed viewing all of the great screenshots and creativity here. Good luck to everyone!
