I thought a chunk of that was also caused by the sim’s autopilot and other physics reacting slower. At 4x speed, you’re getting four times less pitch adjustments on the autopilot and four times less flight dynamics computations over the same real time duration of flight. It might even be less because the framerate will probably drop at a faster sim rate due to having to load assets more quickly. At some point the AP just can’t react fast enough, causing the plane to bobble up and down.
Because there’s a whole orchard of low hanging fruit, and only a few people picking. And some of those pickers also have to go for the fruit at the very top of the tree that people have been clamoring for.
