Right… in the real world it doesn’t matter, because humans are smarter an AI (hopefully, right? 
) - they know which curved line to follow to go from Twy A to Twy B.
For the ATC AI, you do need to name them, otherwise the ATC will probably just call them ‘Taxiway’. I don’t think there is a general consensus for the naming, you can choose either Twy names.
I tend to interpret intersections as part of the branched/smaller taxiway. That way, I have a major taxiway and other smaller taxiways are ‘merging’ onto the major one at different angles.
Again, up to you how you want to interpret it
