What you said make sense. but on the 787 I need, like I used to do before,to use the spoiler axis more frequently and also be able to arm it and extend automatically and also retract automatically .I have the flight yoke system of Logitech and 2 quadran: one (Airbus only for throttle and reverse and the Logitech quadran I use for spoiler(axis) first slider, gear on the second slider and flapps on the third slider.since the bigining of msfs 2020 it was always working fine .I was arming spoiler by using indifferently a digital button or extending manually to arm position. Now it doesn’t extend automatically and I noticed ,except the clic when armed , the special strident sound usually associated to the spoiler extend has also disappeared :that 's why I suspect a bug of SU6 rather than a conflict.
Of course for the moment I’ ve configured it like you said but I still hope to find a way to use it like before the update . Don’t hesitate to share if you find another solution.
