Sr22 ctd

Starting cold and dark at both EGCC (Manchester) and EGCB (Barton), I can consistently provoke a CTD in the SR22 when the aircraft starts taxying.

The only other new addition is GSX Pro and removing this (Addons Linker) does not make a difference.

Bonanza G36 no problems at the same locations.

Anyone else seeing CTD’s with this airframe?

I tried them both, no problems.

I have been experiencing a lot of CTD since the last sim update. Not sure why

If you have your rolling cache enabled, disable or delete it. Always a good practice after each SU, WU, CU that helps resolving some CTDs.

Thanks for checking, there’s a lot of moving parts to this thing

I can tell you since about halfway through beta, glass cockpits in particular seem to initiate like it’s the first time ever loading into the sim on most fresh-boot first starts. You start to taxi and all of a sudden chug fest. At least on xbox. What I do now is load the flight and just hit control-e and let everything boot up, then restart the flight. You can tell it will be problems if you have everything loaded up and spin the outside view around and look for loss of frame rate/chugging. It only takes 15 seconds to restart the flight, far shorter than loading your approach procedures and setting up the FPL and trim/lights etc to find out on taxi roll it’s chugging and will likely black screen at some point.

Even on a re-start I will do the outside spin and look for anything other than perfectly smooth before bothering to proceed with, well, procedures.

Seems like some initialization bug for any glass cockpits, and sometimes just standard GPS units. Almost as if you’re in the plane and it’s not done loading yet. The G3X aircraft can be more troublesome to get up and going than G3000 aircraft. Sometimes taking 3+ flight restarts and finally it’s smoothed out. G22 every time I hit Control-E, initiate the MFD, clear the checklist, and when the PFD is loaded just restart and usually it’s silky after that. There’s also a slight bug with the 22 where it’s chuggy on first start and the mixture lever won’t animate, it’s going to be trouble. Restart flight and all good. It’s not the plane, even the NX with just one display can lag out. On re-start it’ll run liquid smooth as it’s so easy on frames.
