Whenever I load into the SR22, the texture is missing. All I see is pink and white checkerboard both inside the cockpit and outside the aircraft. This happened before SU 14 so I’m not sure when it happened or how to get the textures back. Has anyone experienced this??

take a look at this guide here: https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/9272374007324-How-to-fix-pink-textures-and-graphic-artifacts
Let me know if this doesn’t fix it ![]()
that was fast. Thank you, I will check it out and report back.
unfortunately, it did not work. I deleted the files and after starting the sim it looks like it re-downloaded the files but it’s still the same.
You might have an SR22 Livery in your Community Folder, or purchased through Marketplace. None of those work now, the SR22T art is completely redone.
I realized when I removed the community folder I no longer had the option to even select the SR22. I thought that was one of the default planes. Anyway, I don’t know where to find the SR22T, can anyone direct me to it?
It’s incorrectly present in the hangar with the old SR specs. You can tell it’s the T because of the dark spinner vice old chrome.
I think I read that the improvement mod on flightsim.to fixes that, too. I haven’t tried it yet though.
I downloaded the improvement mod this morning and it didn’t fix the issue that I’m having.
The Improvement Mod doesn’t really address what’s happening. It’s mostly just tweaks to configuration files.
Try this at your own risk because it’s not a Technical Support endorsed method.
Go into the Official Folders path. One of those folders should be named something to the effect of Asobo SR22 or similar. Move that folder elsewhere on your PC. Restart the sim and the installer should detect the plane is missing and attempt a redownload of the files.
I actually did that and it re-downloaded the folder but nothing changed.
There have been instances where the sim has multiple Community Folders. You may have emptied the one not in use.
Locate the UserCfg.opt file and open it using any text editor. The last line points to where your Packages file is. Go there and you will see two folders - one says Official and the other is your Community folder.
well I seem to have two packages locations:
c:/programfiles(x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/microsoftflightsimulator/packages and C:\Users\Jeff’s PC\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\packages
Is it normal to have two? Maybe that’s been my issue. in my UserCfg file the path to the packages is C:\Users\Jeff’s PC\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages
The first is the default which is built on initial install. When you used a Custom Path, the first got orphaned. The one in UserCfg.opt is correct.
