When I use this feature?

when ATC tells u a flight level like FL200 u switch to Standard and back when altidute is given in feet

Under transition level you must use local pressure (QNH) selecting this value on the altimeter knob. Atc tell you the value o you can read it on METAR. Over transition level you must use (everyone must) standard barometric pressure 29.92 (1013). You can select it in the same way o pressing the knob on the Garmin.
