Greetings,
I’ve been flying the C-152 (a plane I actually own) and am ready to move up to the C-172. The only options I see available utilize the G-1000 panel. Is there a C-172 with the steam gauges available? I didn’t see any in the Store.
Thanks.
You have to own the Deluxe or Premium Deluxe version to get the six pack 172.
As an alternative to @CasualClick, there’s a slight different path with the 172 Rocket. It’s not an SP, the cockpit MSFS quality is different, slightly more powerful (210 hp) and with a variable pitch. But it’s a 172 steam gauge.
I own a 152 in real life as well!
Thank you CasualClick for the heads-up. But I am confused. I KNOW I bought and installed the Deluxe version when it first came out. Some problems developed, however, and I chose to uninstall it and reinstall a new/clean copy. Might I have mistakenly downloaded the Standard version instead? How do I determine what version I am currently running? Thanks again.
You may need to use Content Manager to pull down the additional planes/scenery that comes with the up tier license.
Thank you for the heads up about the version issue. When I first loaded Flight Sim 2020, I downloaded the Deluxe version from the Store. I ran into some problems in using it, opted to uninstall it and then relinstalled it. Might I have installed the Standard version? How can I determine what version my computer is running?
I’m not sure. I’m on Steam so my version is consistent no matter where I install it.
You should be able to go into the marketplace, and search for “premium”. Both “premium upgrade” and “premium deluxe upgrade” will show up there. You can see if you “own” them and if they’re “installed”.
Regards
P.S. They’ll also show up under content manager if you own them and you can see if they’re installed or not.
