Actually, it is. Since 2002, mandatory airport security training has been part of the flight training syllabus. We teach folks what to look for as they approach the airport and walk onto the ramp, and who to notify if they see something suspicious. So by your logic, MSFS shouldn’t start at the walk around phase, but driving along the airport fence, giving you the opportunity to notify authorities of breaches, right?
Except you won’t find any. Because this is a video game. Just like you won’t find anything wrong with the fake plane during the fake walk around.
If even real simulators give the user control over where, when, and how they’d like to start a flight… Don’t you think a consumer oriented game ought to?
