What I’m hearing you say is that you don’t want to be forced to start your sim session by arbitrarily mimicing something that IS a part of real aviation in the modern world, but that you just don’t want to be bothered with?
Kind of like me being stuck starting a flight at the walk around phase when I just want to do a Vatsim flight and get a few approaches in while the controller is still on, or do some V1 cuts etc.
The software has many use cases. It’s nice they included the walk-around for those of you that want to use it for role playing. For those of us that want to use it as a simulator, this needs to be optional. No actual simulator session ever includes any kind of hokey digital walk around, that’s something that’s taught / evaluated at the real airplane.
